What is a Tylene hose?

Tylene hoses are mainly used for piping water or gas outdoors. In addition, these hoses are also widely used because they are very easy to use and also durable. After installing such a hose, you no longer have to worry about any leaks that may occur. Thanks to these unique features, tylenic hoses and tylenic couplings are mainly used in regulating garden irrigation.

Polyethylene hose

Tylene hoses are made from two different types of plastics. These hoses are made with the plastic PE (polyethene) and ZPE. Because of this, the stiff and hard tyleen hose is sometimes called polythene hose. Flexible tyleen hoses are always made from ZPE.

When a hose is used for drinking water, it must meet several requirements. Hoses suitable for this purpose are easily recognized by the blue stripe on the outside. A hose with a yellow stripe is suitable for conducting gas.

What diameter polyethylene hose do I need?

The diameter of the tyleen hose you need depends on the application for which it will be used. The sizes range from 16 mm to 50 mm, making it sometimes difficult to make the right choice.
